Must-Try New Restaurant
This new restaurant gives the top sushi spots on the Strip a run for their money. Kabuto is a new 18-seat sushi-ya in China Town’s Seoul Plaza (about to be re-named Tokyo Plaza). Try the nigiri menu option for $40, which is composed of an aperitif, an appetizer, 10 pieces of sushi served one-by-one, a hand roll and a dessert. You can expect a remarkable experience.
5040 Spring Mountain Road, 676-1044. Open 6-11 p.m. Mon-Sat. Dinner for two, $48-$85.
One of my favorite happy hours is at Brio Tuscan Grille at Town Square. Every Monday – Friday from 3pm-6:30pm you can enjoy happy hour specials including $3.95 tasters and $5 drink specials. Brio also hosts a reverse happy hour Monday – Thursday from 9pm-close. I recommend the Spicy Shrimp & Eggplant and Ravioli Caprese paired with a Sangria Rosa.
